How to Become an LIC Agent

Step 1: Application & Registration
Fill out our online application form. You will need to submit:
- Aadhaar Card (identity & address proof)
- PAN Card
- SSLC/10th grade pass certificate (age proof)
- Recent passport size photograph
Step 2: Interactive Training (25 Hours)
Participate in the mandatory 25-hour pre-licensing training program.
Conducted online or offline, this course covers life insurance basics, underwriting, product regulations, and agency ethics, directly managed by Development Officer Rejimon Joseph's training department.
Step 3: IRDAI IC-38 Online Exam
Sit for the online examination conducted by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI).
The exam contains 50 multiple-choice questions. You need to score a minimum of 18 marks (or 17 with grace considerations) to pass. We provide complete mock papers, notes, and coaching to guarantee you pass on your first attempt.
Step 4: Appointment & Launch
Upon passing the exam, you will receive your official LIC Agency Code and license.
You will be appointed as an Insurance Advisor under Branch No. 1, Alappuzha. We supply you with sales kits, brochures, digital apps, and start mentoring you on client visits.
